The third international science, philosophy and religion conference was held in Istanbul, Turkey, earlier this week.

Int’l Conference in Istanbul Discusses Arguments for Existence of God

 

The conference hall of Acibadem University Kerem Aydinlar Campus hosted the event, which was attended by religious scholars, academic figures and philosophers from different countries.

They delivered speeches in English, Turkish and Persian on the theme of arguments for the existence of God, according to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization.

They also talked about the relationship between science, philosophy and religion in general and discussed the interaction and connection between these three disciplines, presenting different perspectives and delviing into the relationship between scientific, philosophical and religious thought.  

Hojat-ol-Islam Abdol Hossein Khosropanah from Iran, Shoaib Ahmed Malik, Russell Howell, and Furkan Ozcelik were among the scholars addressing the session.

Hojat-ol-Islam Khosropanah is a faculty member of the Islamic Culture and Thought Research Center and currently serves as secretary of Iran’s Supreme Cultural Revolution Council.
