Eid al-Fitr Tradition of Muayidah in Iran’s Khuzestan
IQNA – Eid al-Fitr has special significance among Arab people of Iran’s southwestern province of Khuzestan.
On the day of Eid, they observe the tradition of Muayidah, in which, after performing the Eid prayers, they visit the homes of prominent figures and relatives to congratulate them on Eid.
