TEHRAN (IQNA) – The representative of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement in Tehran called on the Muslim world to mobilize all of its power to confront the Israeli regime.

Addressing a forum dubbed “From Al-Aqsa Flood to Dawn of Liberation”, held in Tehran on Tuesday, Nasser Abu Sharif said we are witnessing a very large and comprehensive war in occupied Palestine that necessitates all-out support from all Muslims for the people of Palestine.

He said just as unbelievers are united, Muslims should also unite to defend their rights.

“We must mobilize all of power,” he stated.

He added that the Muslim world’s problem today is the rulers who are under the influence of the US and the Zionist regime.

Abu Sharif noted that the Gaza Strip is witnessing crimes against humanity, genocide, killing of children and women, and other crimes by the Zionist regime but the West remains silent in the face of such atrocities.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the Islamic Jihad official hailed the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation as an achievement that shattered the Israeli regime’s purported image of power.

He said the victory in the operation was achieved with God’s blessings and can continue with Taqwa (God-fearing), faith and steadfastness on the path of the truth.

The victory proved that the Muslim Ummah needs awakening at a time when some regimes in the region are at the service of the objectives of the US and Israel, Abu Sharif further said.

The forum “From Al-Aqsa Flood to Dawn of Liberation” was organized by the cultural deputy of the Iranian Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research (ACECR) to review the military, security and other achievements of the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation.

The operation carried out by the Hamas resistance movement against Israel on October 7.

In response, the Zionist regime launched a campaign of killing and destruction in the Gaza Strip.

More than 2,800 Palestinians, including many women and children, have been killed and around 10,000 wounded in the Israeli airstrikes.
