He has been invited by the Iraqi Tribes Headquarters, affiliated to the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine, to attend Quranic programs in the Arab country in the holy month of Ramadan.
The programs are organized at mosques and Husseiniyas (religious centers) belonging to tribal leaders.
The first such Quranic circle was held at the Husseiniya of Al-Ubaidi Tribe in the city of Basra.
It was also attended by Iranian Consul General and the country’s Cultural Attaché in Iraq.
Ramadan is the ninth month in the Islamic calendar. It is a period of prayer, fasting, charity giving and self–accountability for Muslims around the world.
During Ramadan, Muslims fast (abstain from foods and drinks) from sunrise to sunset.
They also devote a considerable amount of time during this month to reading and contemplating the Quran and attending communal Quranic programs.
