The competition will be held for Muslims from different European countries on March 2-4, 2018.
The Islamic Centre Hamburg will host the competition, according to its website.
It is aimed at promoting the Quranic culture and teachings, paving the way for growth of Quranic talents, enhancing unity among European Quran activists and serving as a venue for Qaris and memorizers to exchange their experiences.
The competition will be held in two separate sections for men and women in categories such as Quran recitation, Quran memorization, Tawasheeh (religious singing), and Adhan (call to prayers).
A number of internationally-known Quran masters will be invited to form the contest’s panel of judges.
According to the organizers, followers of all Islamic schools of thought living in Europe can take part in the Quranic event.
Those who have won a first to third rank in the previous editions can attend this edition in a different category.
