Karachi University to Host Nabawi Seerah Int’l Conference

TEHRAN (IQNA) - An international conference on Seerah Nabawi is planned to be held at Pakistan's Karachi University on January 21.


The conference will be organized by Sheikh Zayed Islamic Center of the university in cooperation with Greek Department and Seerah Chair (department of Seerah studies) of the Faculty of Islamic Studies of the university.

A number of eminent Pakistani scholars and intellectuals as well as Muslim scholars from other countries including Turkey and Egypt will take part at the program.

The opening ceremony of the conference will be held on January 21 at Sheikh Zayed Hall of the university from 10 a.m. local time.

Quran recitation by internationally known Qaris and speeches to be delivered by the scholars on Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and challenges faced by the Muslim world will be among the programs of the ceremony.

The international conference is open to everyone and the Islamic center has invited those interested in the theme to participate at the program.
