Among those killed was a senior Taliban commander, local sources said, Al Jazeera reported.
According to the sources, the Taliban official was Safiallah Samim, a former police commander in Baghlan province.
The blast happened during a memorial service held at the Nabawi Mosque in Nofezabad city on Thursday morning.
The memorial was for a Taliban deputy governor of the area, Nisar Ahmad Ahmadi, the sources said.
Ahmadi was killed in a bombing two days ago that was claimed by the Daesh (ISIL or ISIS) terrorist group.
A Taliban health ministry official put the death toll from Thursday’s incident at ten, saying 21 more people were wounded in the blast.
