Compete with One Another in Doing Good Deeds

TEHRAN (IQNA) – While many a time we compete for worldly reasons, God tells us to compete with each other in performing good deeds.

Hojat-ol-Islam Syed Ali Raza Rizvi, speaking in a series on Islamic lifestyle, referred to verse 148 of Surah Al-Baqarah (1) of the Holy Quran “So vie with one another in good works”, and said when people compete in doing good deeds, they always improve.

When you have a positive competition, it makes you a positive person in life, he added.
