Iranian Qari’s Quran Recitation in South Africa (+Video)

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iranian Qari Javad Panahi paid a visit to South Africa a few years ago.

During the trip, he recited verses from the Holy Quran’s Surah al-Balad (90) in a gathering of South Africa Muslims.

Born in 1965 in Mashhad, northeast Iran, Panahi started learning Quran recitation at the age of seven.

He listened to recitations by famous Egyptian Qaris and tried to imitate their style.

Panahi soon became a known Qari who recited the Quran in various programs in the city.
