Daesh Removes Quranic Verse from Manifesto
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Daesh Takfiri terrorist group has removed a verse of the Holy Quran from its strategy.
According to al-Yawm al-Sabi newspaper, the decision to remove verse 42 of Surah al-Anfal came following disputes among the Takfiri group’s members about how to interpret the verse.
Since the verse clearly shows a ban on killing innocent people, it has created doubts among many members of Deash about the group’s campaign of terror and killing.
Hence, Daesh issued a statement, saying that due to differences of opinion in interpreting the verse, it has been removed from the strategy of the group and replaced by passages from two books.
Daesh started a campaign of terror against people in Syria and Iraq in 2013 and 2014.
Since two years ago, however, it has suffered debilitating blows at the hands of national armies in the two countries.
