TEHRAN (IQNA) – The 25th Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition will get underway in a ceremony here in the Iranian capital on Monday evening.

According to the organizers, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri will officiate the opening ceremony.

A number of other high-ranking officials are also expected to attend the program.

The Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (Prayer hall) will host the expo until the 22nd day of the holy month of Ramadan (June 17).

There will be different sections including Quranic activities, international, children and young adults, arts, government organizations, NGOs, and Hijab and Ifaf.

They will showcase the latest achievements in Quranic and Islamic fields as well as books and artworks featuring Quranic and Islamic themes.

Representatives of media outlets, institutions and Quranic figures from 20 countries will be present in the international section.

A Hijab and Ifaf Bazar is planned to be held on the sidelines of the exhibition offering Hijab products with a 30-percent discount.

Honoring servants of the Quran and holding specialized forums on Quranic and Islamic issues will be among other programs of the international Quranic event.

The motto of this year’s exhibition is "Quran, Ethics and Life”.

People can visit the exhibition every day from 5 PM to midnight.
